The Compound Effect
Today we discuss the compound effect and how you can use it to grow your business.
If you prefer to listen as I do, here’s a video of me running you through todays email. Otherwise scroll down to read on.
I talk to a lot of entrepreneurs (agency Founders, coaches, consultants) as part of the work i do and they’re constantly talking about these things as reasons why their business isn’t growing:
AI
The market
Politics & Donald Trump
I take the stoic position on this.
You can’t control those things so there’s no point talking about them.
Instead of wasting our time with that, today we’re going to talk about the things you can control.
So if you’ll entertain me for a few minutes I’m going to share a new paradigm with you.
One that allows you to wrestle back control of your business.
So what’s the problem?
Are you:
Working hard but no real momentum or growth
Sales and marketing feel random and disconnected
Busy delivering → no time to sell → pipeline dries up
Relying on referrals or inconsistent inbound
Each month starting from zero
I talk to a lot of entrepreneurs and they’re experiencing the same thing.
It’s not politics or AI that’s the cause.
It’s something else entirely.
It’s uncomfortable. It’s painful. And it’s hard to admit
The problem is YOU.
Now.. what can we do to be better?
The Three Horsemen
Focus
Relentless action
Consistent behaviour
If you master these three things, you can take ownership over your own destiny.
Example 1 - Jeff Bezos
Example 2 - Michael Jordan
Example 3 - Arnold Schwarzenegger
Focus
It’s not about doing more, it’s about less but better.
You set a clear strategy. You build one system. You follow one roadmap.
You ignore EVERYTHING else.
Relentless action
Work 10% harder than everyone else and get 5x the results.
Proof: Usain Bolt
Consistent behaviour
Random acts of sales get you nowhere. Act daily and let compounding take over
The compound effect.
The Compound Effect

What happens if you follow this in your business?
Focus: You become known in the market for what you do
Action: The daily seeds you plant start to sprout over time
Consistency: The rate of business growth increases over time with compounding
What’s the takeaway?
There’s no point in making excuses as to why your business isn’t growing.
Take control of your situation and become a consistent, relentless action taker.
