Signal versus noise

Focus is praised but so rarely executed on.

Let's be honest.

Most of X is just noise:

  • "Start a newsletter!"

  • "Start cold email!"

  • "Are you using AI yet??!"

My biggest lesson of 2024 was being able to split the signal from the noise.

That means focussing on:

  • Getting proof-of-concept

  • Understanding my market

  • Getting leads and cash in the door

There's nothing more important than those three things.

Fads and trends come and go.

But the fundamentals stay the same.

So here's my question to you:

Are you focussing on signal right now?

Or are you distracted by the noise?
